Laurent Wermenlinger, FCSI, has more than 40 years of investment experience. He joined Desjardins Securities (DSI) in December 2006 as Vice-President and Portfolio Manager to offer Integrated Wealth Management services to a select group of clients. His association with DSI gives him access to an extended network of professional resources that he can call upon for the benefit of his clients.
Prior to his association with DSI, Laurent was president, chief executive officer and founding partner of a wealth management firm. In addition to his responsibilities as head of the firm, he managed portfolios for a large number of clients and chaired the investment committee.
Laurent is recognized as an expert in Integrated Wealth Management services.

Mario Sylvestre, CPA, CGA, F. Pl., has been a member of Groupe conseil Wermenlinger at Desjardins Securities (DSI) since December 2006. Before joining the group, he occupied a senior position as financial planner and tax advisor for the firm founded by Laurent Wermenlinger in 1996.
Mario, a graduate of HEC Montreal, concentrated his studies in business management and accounting. He is a member of the Ordre des CPA, CGA and of the Institut québécois de planification financière. His expertise in tax accounting and financial planning represents an asset for the clients of Groupe conseil Wermenlinger.

Maryana Sokolyuk has over 23 years of experience in financial services and marketing. She joined the Wermenlinger Advisory Group in 2009, becoming an associate partner of the Group (recently renamed Wermenlinger Sokolyuk Group) in 2021. Maryana holds a master’s in marketing and a master’s in business administration (MBA) for executives specializing in financial services from the École des sciences de la gestion, Université du Québec à Montréal. She has also earned the highest credential in Canadian financial services, FCSI (Fellow of CSI), and holds RIAC certification from the Canadian Responsible Investment Association.
Maryana is known for her efficiency and her leadership skills. She is an competent portfolio manager with an enviable capacity for learning and an impressive memory. Maryana has occupied several positions on the team, mastering all aspects of her profession. Our clients and colleagues value her professionalism, reliability, expertise and integrity. Xuan Bui has been working in the financial services industry for over 20 years. She has an MBA, a certificate in financial accounting, and the Canadian Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Xuan has extensive experience in investment and financial market analysis and in banking services for both private and corporate clients. She is known for her ability to analyze and summarize information, her team spirit, and her determination to go above and beyond for her clients.
